The Mystery behind the Fever Episodes

I wonder why I have nothing happy to blog about. All about sad sad case...And its like never ending stories about Jayden's fever, our visits to the paed and the sleepless nights. So one day while he was crying and really grumpy I took this picture.

(picture taken 4th November 2006)

Teething...No wonder la.. Now that his teeth emerged more..Another round of fever again!!! Aiyo!!! Kepala Pusing! Go for pneumococcal jab also can get fever. Other kids also never get fever...Now I'm really considering whether he should go for the 2nd jab or not.*sigh*

Really heartache looking at him crying and crying every night...Gain abit weight then loose more than gained. Baru learn how to makan porridge then cannot makan edi cos fever! I'm also loosing weight with the recent happenings..Every night sleep abit, wake up and wipe his head. His fever also very funny. Stuck at the head..and it can go up to 38.4! So its really worrying for both me and Mr Chan.

*sigh*

*siggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*

  5. I am sure many mummies out there have gone through the same thing. My lil' boy had his fair share of fevers before he turned one year. He was even hospitalised due to pneumonia when he was 10 months. He'll be stronger after his big birthday. Be patient, and keep up the good work of being a mummy!

Give paracetomal to relieve fever ? Poor lil kid. Just go for the jab la. Better than suffering the real thing later on!

This is what we call growing pains!

  12. I think not the jab problem la, maybe he is teething at the same time, so triggered the fever.

  14. Take care -- what to do, no choice, have to go through it....just give him more hugs and kisses. I think he will be more comforted that way...

  17. That's why sometimes Chinese believed that u feed them pearl powder before sunrise a day b4 the jab. It will bring temperature down and usually no fever.
