Anyone can compost!

Read an article today in TheStar and they say that composting has come to a dead end as people are just not interested (and lazy) to compost kitchen waste and we have problem with place to store our rubbish. It's not that I'm a gardener and I'm saying this, but what is so hard? Seriously? You just need a bucket or container with holes underneath, add some soil, throw in the kitchen waste (uncooked veg, fruit peel, egg shells, fish waste, and like me... Fruits and veg that got spoilt because I totally forgot about them in the fridge, hehe) and top up with some soil.

Once in a while use a garden fork (or wood, or anything) to turn them. And not long after that you can get dark, rich soil for your garden. Seriously, it is not hard!!!

If everyone were to do abit, we can all help the environment, minimize waste, and also save money (no need to buy fertilizer maaaa)

Just remember to cover it well so that flies can't get in, cats won't go poop in it and also rats won't go dig it ya.

Bravo Laundry Tool

Okay. Very aunty post. But heck-lah. I'm so damn busy, if I find anything cheap and good that can help me with my chores, I'll get it and I will share with my readers. So call me Aunty lah, I don't care  At least I'm an efficient one. :P

Anyway I found this tool in Mr.DIY and it's Rm7.50 ( or was it 7.90?. Eh I forgot lah... Cannot remember so many things. Hehe). Anyway what I remember about this tool is that, it's called "BRAVO". I laughed when I first saw it. It's a ball to protect your bra in washing machine and it's called BRAVO. So appropriate. *lol*

I know it's not a "new" thing in fact it has been around for like many years. I used to have one and it was like Rm 15 from pasar malam and not long after it broke and my son used it as a toy :S

So when I found it in Mr.DIY I bought and thought I should give it a try again, cos I'm so lazy to do separate laundry for the clothes and bra.

To my surprise this tool is very durable and best of all it's cheap and good. Save my time to do separate laundry. Hehe

You just open up and wrap the inner ball with yr bra , close it up and toss it into the washing machine. Love this tool, I went and bought another one.

Growing Cotton from Seed

This is one of the coolest plant I have ever planted. I got my seeds from Wokkingmum not long ago and I germinated 4 seeds. However only one manage to make it till this stage. This plant is really fascinating and educational to kids ( and myself too!)

Selecting the Right Mini Dress

Okay, so that day on my hub's birthday we went for Birthday Celebration and we took a family picture. When I posted it on FB, so many people asked me if I'm pregnant. -_-'' Anyway NO. It was because of the baby doll mini-dress I bought from Krabi. Since I bought it from the roadside I didn't get to try it on before I bought it, and I chose it because of the prints without looking at the cutting of the dress. Adoi....So now I have to wear it at home :(

So to avoid wearing the wrong dress again and being asked if I'm pregnant,  so I googled and found a few tips on how to select the right mini dress for me. For example, if you want to draw attention to the neckline or chest, you can select mini dresses with ruffles or cinched waist.

This type of mini dress design gives attention to the top part body of a woman and help creates an hourglass figure. Besides that, if you want a more subtle approach in highlighting your chest, go for pleats or folded neckline mini dress for an added dimension. However do avoid bulky or chunky necklaces so that it won't take the focus away.

For those who are blessed with a fuller chest and wish to tone it down, they can choose mini dresses with a loose bottom half. That's if, you want to even out your body shape in a subtle way. However, if you want more attention drawn to accentuate your bottom half, choose a mini dress which has more coverage up top with an A-flared bottom as it will be the perfect choice.

And not forgetting those who are born with a devilicious hourglass body , what else is best for you except bodycon mini dresses? My thought - if you have it, flaunt it! Don't be afraid to play around with bold colours and if you're uncomfortable with body hugging minis, then you can always go for lighter fabrics and flowing lines while maintaining the hourglass look. (Wah, I love this brown and pink bodycon dress from Zalora!! So Sexy!)

Not everyone is born with the perfect body (in fact no one has a perfect body!) but you can always accentuate your body with the right kind of mini dresses according to your body shape that will make you look good all the time plus shopping now is so convenient with shops like Zalora, so many designs and brands to choose from. You can even shop in your pyjamas now ;)

My Long Okra

It's been a long time since I have posted anything here. Blame it on FB and also my busy schedule chauffeuring my kids. But then nevertheless, I need my therapy which is gardening. And sharing here , my longest okra ever at 19inches long! People told me to write to Msia Book of Records and I did, but to my surprise if i were to get into the books, I need to pay a whole lot of money for that. Not worth it since I'm not representing any big companies and by the time they come, it's already ready for seeds.
