How IT happened...

It's been a week since I gave birth. Although I'm super lazy, I think I better jot it down before I forget.

So on Tuesday night, we went to makan dinner in SS2 with my sister. I jokingly told Jayden " Follow Boh Boh home la. Tonight mamimi wanna go and give birth" and my lil boy walked towards my sister. Then my sister went home and we did our usual stuff. Jayden was watching his tele, hub was using his laptop and I was walking around nesting like a bee. Bzzzzzzzzzz then suddenly I told my husband, " I think we better take a pic of my tummy...." And so we snapped
Photobucket
With Jayden, my tummy was 38inches and weight 72.4kgs. With Justin, my tummy was 40inches and I weight around 69.5kgs.

Right after that, I continued my nesting in CL's/BB's room and suddenly I felt like I was having period and I have a look down there and I saw blood. I asked Big C to confirm for me and then I called my doctor immediately. She asked me to head to the hospital to confirm.

I called my sis to come over and pick J up. We packed HIS bag, lotsa snacks, lotsa dvds/vcds, toys and blablabla and waited for my sis to come. He was all jolly and happy to see my sis + her hub and willingly went into the car and jumped up and down in the car.

Big C changed into the same T-shirt he wore when I delivered Jayden. It was a Nike T shirt I bought for him written "NEVER SURRENDER". *lol* After that we took a very SLOW drive to the hospital. I guess we just wanted some final-Alone time together before we multiply to 4. Haha So as soon as we got there, I got changed and positioned for dilation check. Ouch... very very PAIN! And I was told that I am only 1cm dilated.

My doc came not long after, she did another check (ouch!!!) and found that I'm 4 cm dilated and my water already broke, but I have totally no IDEA that its broken also! However, Baby's head is not pressing on the opening. So gotto wait for baby to go down and dilate more before we can do the actual work.

Contraction came (Yes, now i know how it feels like, pain like how Pearly said it "so pain holy sugar , you just so pain you even forgot your mama". Yeap that's how I felt but I insisted not to have epidural. Want to be champion ma....But Big C kept asking me to take it. And I finally took it at 4.30am.

After that, I had a short nap and woke up with itchiness(side effect of epi) all around my body except my waist down. My right leg totally went coma. Other part is about 95% numb.Big C was sleeping and I entertained myself and had a good laugh in the delivery ward.

Doctor came and checked me again. Woot! Not painful at all cos of the epidural, and she told me that if baby's head is not going down, I gotto go through C-sec.After that I asked Big C to come and talk to my tummy, asked baby Justin to go down so can come out soon and mamimi no need to go through c-sec. I spoke to baby too, asking himto go to the light (err cos the ahem opened up. So i supposed can see a little bit of light?) And then after waiting for a while, I told my husband that i sense something. Weird, since I'm on epidural I'm not supposed to feel anything down there. My gut feeling told myself that baby went down and I'm fully dilated. Big C went and told the nurses to check on me but they said doctor asked them to wait. Luckily doctor came not long after that, she checked me and said that I'm fully dilated and she started to wear apron and gloves and told me "MW (my chinese name), we gotto start pushing okay?".

And I pushed and pushed for 1 hour plus. err actually I dunno whether I am pushing or not but since the doctor and nurses said that I'm doing fine and I'm doing the right thing, so I made the same facial expression :P

Many times, we made jokes and laughed loudly. The nurses laughed and said that they have not seen anyone that can actually give birth and joke at the same time. I kept laughing about my "dead" leg.You won't believe it, while delivering, phone call came in and I can answer the phone call! Haha Since my gynea is a woman, and the nurses are women too, all of them shouted with excitement (you know how noisy it is when a bunch of women get together la..), kept calling my name and that actually reminded me not to pass out cos I was almost out of breath.

Finally, Justin came. He was placed onto my chest. He was very clean (probably I drank lots of coconut juice) and I cried in excitement (like a mad woman). Placenta came out as soon as Justin got out. Just in time. Otherwise Justin will be suffocating inside there without oxygen supply.

As soon as my dr saw him, she said "Aiyoh, exactly like kor kor! and he weight like what we expected around 3.2kg (Justin was 3.12kg)

Photobucket

We spent 2 hours in the delivery ward while I breastfed Justin. He was sucking hard the moment I placed him onto my breast with his eyes opened wide. My doctor called him the "Good Sucker". *lol* And that's my birth story and yeap, I have experienced all 3, show, water bag burst and also contraction. I hope I didn't missed out anything. Let me rest for a while and blog about "When Big J meet Small J" in my next post ya?

Presenting Baby J...

Baby Justin Chan.

Photobucket
Look familiar? Look like someone you guys have seen before?

Tuesday, September 09, 2008

So how did yours started?

Since I was induced during J's time, I have no idea what is the feeling of water bag bursting at home, or sudden contraction or bleeding. In fact I forgot how izit like to have contractions. I remember that I was alone (Big C went home to do dunnno what) and I was walking up and down in the room, shouting for the nurse to give me jab or whatever to ease the pain. And then my aunt came, I don't know how the heck she managed to convince the nurse to let her into the room, and then she complaint and complaint about my grandma. So imagine I was dealing with the pain (which I forgot how it feels like) and I gotto listen to ppl complaining about someone else.

So anyway, I have been asking around - How izit like when You get contraction? What is the feeling like? Some ppl said like wanna pangsai feeling. Some ppl said, backache. Can anyone tell me more?

And then, how many of you guys had contraction first? How many water bag burst? How many bleed?

Come, share with me while I enjoy my moochi ice cream before I pop.

14 days and Working at home

Working at home means...
You can switch on your pc, drive your son to school, drive to the wet market to look for lala that you crave and then head back home to.. work. (Nope, no lala today got prawns instead. Try again tomorrow?)

Working at home means...
Your colleague asked you to send some files over and you said "okay, let me find it first, hang on" but actually you're eating nasi lemak and drinking nescafe ice.. Ahhhhh and then you find your files and send over.

Working at home means...
You press apple (control) + S to save your file and you can go to the fridge to take out the frozen chicken to defrost for your soup later...

While waiting for your boss to send the amendment/corrections back to you...you can head to the kitchen and prepare carrots, potatoes and blablabla for your ABC soup.

Working at home means...
while working, you can open a few tabs, one with Moonlight Resonance loading online. And when you're waiting for your files to save (huge files...very slow to load) you can press replay and watch it uninterrupted.

Working at home means...

When you're angry with your boss, just walk off from the pc and head to the kitchen and fry your salted egg prawns. Yummy!

16 days to go

I wonder when I will stop counting. I did the stupidest thing. I went and used a mirror to see what's happening down south cos I felt funny. And true enough, something happened. My sista down there, don't look like her no more. She basically looked like.... errrrr first stage labour's sista. And then I cannot sleep the whole Sunday night thinking that I'm going to pop soon.

Big C's been very hardworking, applying medicine on his ulcers cos he is worried that he can't go into the delivery ward with me. He even asked me to take picture of his ulcers so that he can show ppl that adults CAN get hfmd also. But then he asked me not to show you guys, shy wor..*slap forehead*

You think kids know when they will have a new rival sibling? This lil guy of mine, came over to my side of the bed, twice in the middle of the night last night-pulled me over to his bed and asked me to sleep with him on his bed, the asked me to hug him to sleep, basically my body needs to touch his body. But his bed is so tiny, so I opt to sleep on a matress on the floor with my hand hanging on his body. And he got pissed and he insisted to sleep with me on the floor. So that's the entire night's scenario. That means I get no sleep. And he went to school looking like a zombie. *LOL*

Photobucket
Enjoying his munchkinzz grapes. So tiny! So cute! So Expensip!
P/s: The playtent is a free gift from Huggies. Got it from the parenthood exhibition when I bought 7 packs of Huggies Ultra. Yeah 7! 5 for no2 and 2 for no1.

Counting Down: 18 days

Oh man..... I must be crazy. I woke up with a really weird dream. I gave birth to 2 small puppies (black and white) and I breast fed one with my left breast. I dreamt that I can pull my nini up and suck it to test whether there are milk coming out or not! *slap forehead* and I fed one of the puppies. And I couldn't bf the right side with the other puppy. I was so damn despressed IN MY DREAMS. Thank god it was just a dream! Actually I was rolling left and right- couldn't sleep before that cos Jayden slept on his own bed last night. Talk about separation anxiety eh? When he slept with me, I felt that I have limited space to move and when he sleeps alone, I miss him. *sigh*

Photobucket
This is how he asked me for an "aeroplane" ride...

Boy... I'm so gonna miss him when I'm in the hospital. I know he will miss me much much too. Ever since he stayed home with me for the past week, he's been very sticky and very loving towards me. Err as you can see here....
Photobucket

He got used to me working in front of my mac but once in a while he will come and pull me into the room and asked me to dance and play with him. He surprised me one day when he went for a nap himself in his new playtent.
Photobucket
Guess, he knows mami is too busy to tuck him in eh? Anyway, he's going back to school on tuesday. Just wish that the viruses will stop attacking him and give him and his body a break too.

We went to check out the hospital where I will be giving birth cos I have never been there since many many years ago. So we timed and even look for the fastest and shortest way to get there, just in case. I got everything I need (I hope) to welcome no2 abroad. Just one more thing - need the father to recover fast. *pray hard*

Count Down: 19 days

Just went for check up and I lost weight again. And doctor asked me not to eat "so much". Can you believe it. hahahaha

Baby last weight was 2.6kgs. This week 3.2kgs. Plus/Minus, baby is 2.8kgs now. So she asked me not to eat so much, worried that baby got too big and then I can't go for natural delivery.

Since Big C is down with hfmd, if I were to deliver now, he can't go into the delivery room with me. *sigh* lonely-nya me in delivery room if baby decided to come now.

Doctor said "I see you in a week time (for checkup) or delivery ward okay?

So these 19 days onwards, I will be eating-whatever-I-need-to-eat-before-I-pop week. Today I bought,

Satay Kajang Hj Samuri. Not much ma....only 10. But I can only wallop 5, full edi. Wanna eat more also cannot.

Initially I bought a few stuff I was craving to eat last weekend. But since J was sick, I just ate whatever I bought with no feelings. Basically I was just swallowing my food and not tasting it also. This week, I wanna enjoy.

Good News, Bad News

Which one you wanna hear first?

Ok.

Good news: Jayden is recovering. Ulcers are getting smaller and appetite is coming back.
Bad news: Since he was sick, whatever he wanted - we give. So, can expect more shouting of "NO" after this.
Photobucket
See my Tai Kor sucking his paci after his round of ice cream.

Good News: I didn't get hfmd. I only got a few dots on my legs and hands.
Bad News: Big C got everything including ulcers on the tongue. He told me now he understand how our son felt.

Good News: I'm already starting to work at home. So no more worries about needing to take EL (choi!Choi!Choi!)
Bad News: Working at home means less pay with a pay cut of 1k. *sigh*

Good News: Jayden been staying at home, with me looking after him.
Bad News: He WANTS MY ATTENTION ALL THE TIME! *pull hair* how to work?

Good News: Went for check up last saturday and baby is growing fine. Baby is now 2.6kgs. Bigger than J who was born at 2.55kgs. But say only, won't be so accurate right?
Bad News: I'm loosing weight. (or izit a good news?)

Good News: Baby + CL room is ready.
Bad News: Since J and Big C is down with hfmd, I think its a bad timing for no2 to come now. *sigh*

Good News: I'm applying for maid. Since I'm working from home and no2 is staying home with me. I might even pull Jayden out from daycare since he gets sick so often.
Bad News: No maids until after raya and maybe more bad news when maid come :(

Good News: Confinement lady confirmed that she will come and attend my confinement.
Good News: My bags are packed. :) finally...

Good News: 21 days to go before pop.
Bad News: 21 days to go before pop. Arghhhh! So hard to breath, So hard to sleep. And J is sooooo manja now always wanna carry.

Don't kacau a nesting woman

Last night, I turned into a pregnant incredible hulk.

First, Jayden came home and keep whacking me. Whatever he wanted to do and if i say NO, he'll whack/slap my body and he loves to aim at my tummy. So i smacked his hands and asked him don't do that. Guess what he did? He cry la... said "I SAD! I SAD!". *sigh* Can see from his eyes that he has no idea what is wrong and why he is in the bad mood. So, I tahan from being angry, I turned on the laptop and let him enjoyed himself with sesame street games, pressing whatever keys bird bird and elmo asked him to press happily. And then he wanted Thomas videos pulak. And the line was like sh*t, not loading. So he thought , maybe press/whack the keyboard can make it jalan abit. And you know what? each time he whack the keyboard the stupid line really jalan! So whack whack whack my laptop la. Again I said don't do that and he whacked me again. *blood boiling edi* But then cannot blame him right? Cos when he was playing the sesame street games, we asked him to press the keyboard. And then now we ask him don't press? Abit confusing right? So tahan again.. not his fault. Blame it on the stupid streamyx line.

So after dinner, I can sense that my battery is dying. So I lie down. And then I saw my pile of clothes/stuff which I was supposed to bring to hospital. I thought should put in a bag and just grab and go if I wanna go to the hospital. So off to the store room and looked for a bag and my husband said he wanna wash for me first. FINE. Project tergendala.

Then I started to dig and dig into Jayden's drawer and found a few stuff that no2 can use. Then I went and wrote what I need to buy by this weekend. So I was basically here, there, and everywhere.

I told my husband " You know my feelings now? I'm like a bird that is going to lay some eggs, gathering sticks to make a nest" . And he answered me "AIYAH WHY U THINK LIKE THAT?" Guess what happened? *BOOM!* the blood boiling edi. "YOU AH! IT'S CALLED NESTING INSTINCT! ASK YOU TO READ, YOU NEVER READ! EVERYTHING ALSO AIYAH AIYAH AIYAH! LATER SEMUA ALSO SAY DUNNO BLABLABLABLABLABLA!"

You know, men will never understand what women gotto go through during pregnancy. No matter how understanding they can be. UNLESS they read alot or attended some course with the wifey. So at least when they're in the delivery suite they know what to do, like massage the wife's leg or back, chat with the wife and not walk up and down, read newspaper, go toilet like dunno how many times, play games with handfone and sleep. If like that, better don't be in the delivery suite. Make the wife's blood boiling only.

I once thought, if MEN is seahorse (male seahorse give birth to babies-not the female) how many would volunteer to do it? Male seahorse knows the feeling of being fat and the feeling of giving birth, contractions for a long time. See how pity the lil seahorse is pushing to get the fry out?

Anyway......so I stopped nesting and went to bed. Middle of the night, the very usual thing happened. Jayden came and started to wiggle next to me. He just love to roll over  on my face. Sometimes he wil just stop rolling and left his bebird area on my nose. Usually I'll just leave it and he'll just roll over and goes back to sleep. Last night, I brushed him off. And he started crying and whacking me. He even used his head to bang my nose! ARGHHHHH!!!! *blood boiling edi*

You know how frustrating it is to have someone whacking you when you finally get some peaceful sleep and then whacked yr nose with a very HARD HEAD? And the one inside me been doing some olympic somersault for the whole day and there's not much room left for the lil fler to move.

Jayden whacked and whacked me, I just tahan and tahan until... he used his head to bang my tummy! * Kaboom!* Beh tahan edi. I just reached for his ears and twisted it and he started to scream. His father finally came to his rescue although I've been shouting "STOP IT! STOP WHACKING ME!" for a good few minutes. Can see from Big C's facial expression that he was so scared of me. *can imagine myself in green colour , turning into a hulk* Jayden just cannot stop crying and that point in time my mind went blank. Totally no feeling of pitiness, sadness, or what so ever. Maybe I was too tired to think of feel anything already.

I then gathered myself and pulled the lil one near me. Big C refused to let go (so imagine how scarry I was?). I pulled Jayden over and he started to hug me and wanted to WHACK me again *PULL HAIR* When he is going to learn leh? sigh....pity the fler. His ears nearly fall off after my super twisting. So I just hugged him and we all went back to sleep after a good 20 mins or so of shouting and crying in the middle of the night. Neighbours must be wondering what the heck is wrong with this family, shouting like mental ppl in the middle of the night.

This morning, I woke up feeling like a pile of sh*t. Made milk for Jayden and he woke up. I thought to myself "Don't know if he remember what happened last night or not?" And then he said to me "Bite bum bum...." Requesting me to bite his bum bum. "Bite elbow..., Bite Chin.....Bite ChitChit....." Well, he's alright. Requesting me to bite here and there - our usual game. All happy and chirpy like a little bird that just got fed with worms and went off to school happily with his dad. Well, maybe he remember or maybe he doesn't. Maybe I should learn from him, forget about the sadness and think about the happy things that is going to happen *pray , please let it be happy day for me*

Spinning Around..

Last Friday was a bad bad night for me. Jayden got so sticky to me, basically hung on to me like a kutu. Mamimi this..Mamimi that... Actually he does that to me everynight. But somehow on Friday night it just felt like whatever he was doing was so irritating and I couldn't take it. I kept pushing him aside and asking his dadidi to take over.

Suddenly I felt like as if I was suffocating and wanted to lie down on the bed-uniterrupted. Nope, Jayden wants to play aeroplane, wanted me to give him a piggy back ride. Kept using his hands to turn me around. And suddenly I felt like the whole world was spinning around.

So I thought okay...I'm way too stressed since I couldn't breath properly while I was at work. So I told Big C to get Jayden away from me otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do to him. But nope, I don't know what happened, Jayden refused his father. I finally burst and hugged Big C and just cried my heart out. Jayden just lie down next to me and looked at me crying.  And then I fell asleep. Or izit pengsan??! I don't know.

I woke up middle of the night, still dizzy.
Woke up the next day, still dizzy but it got better after my roti canai breakfast (maybe cos the food healed me,hehe)  and I accompanied Jayden to his class. After that I gave my gynea a call and asked her what happened and according to how I describe it, I have middle ear infection. *phew* I tot I was having low blood pressure and will pop anytime! Anyway at least another 2 more weeks for me *pray*

And Sunday, I thought that I wanna go and have a final look at what I've left out for the arrival of No2 in Mother's and Baby Exhibition. Yeah.. some of you will say "IT'S NEXT WEEK WHAT????!" That is how blur I AM! Sigh.. i think I'm going kuku edi. I really need a break. Can I still go for holiday before I pop?

Anyway, to remind myself to move my @ss, I've made a checklist:
Confinement
CL + Baby's room = Cleaned but not in order yet.
Confinement stuff - herbs = Haven't get it yet. But no worries, I have 3 uncles that operates herbal shops.
CL : need to call to reconfirm that she's coming otherwise I need to find replacement.
CL's pay: Anyone wanna sponsor? It's 3K now..
Cooking wine: Mom got it ready! 2 different flavours some more *yum*
Dome: (big C we have left overs right?)

Baby:
Baby's cloth diaper= washed and folded.
Baby's clothes= washed, folded and sorted according to sizes
Bottle sterilizer= :( not yet
Car seat = Sent for rewrap and its looking like brand new.
Baby cot= Up but not dressed up yet.
New clothes for baby to come home with= Bought.
New clothes for Full Moon= Bought.

For me:
Breast pump = checked and its working fine.
Hospital Bag = half packed cos I don't know what to bring.
Urut Lady: got contacts but haven't selected one that is not scared of dogs.
Breast feeding pillow= Got it!

What else?? what else? I just wanna get everything sorted out and chill. But I don't think Jayden is gonna let me do that. *sigh*

45 days to go

Photobucket
Me in week 32.

Yeap, only 45 days more to go. Not too long, not so soon.

It's like everyone popped and I m waiting for my turn next. Having mixed feeling now. Excited, happy, worried all being mixed up like a nice bowl of fruit rojak *drool*.

Excited because I wonder how my baby will look like since doctor and nurse said that baby looks exactly like korkor. Happy cos there's an addition to this small house.

Worried cos all I have for baby now is a pair of breast waiting to breast feed *lol* and some clothes, hand over from korkor's collection. The cot is still in pieces, the room for the confinement lady is still in a mess. And we still don't know what is gonna happen when I suddenly feel like giving birth in the middle of the night. Who's going to take care of Jayden when Big C is in the delivery room with me? Anyway, let's wait for Big C to come back and then we decide unless baby decide to come out now..........okay, let's not think about that.

The big kor kor is still clueless (I think) about my big belly. All he said was "Baby..." Pointing/stroking my tummy. I think he will be extremely jealous when No.2 comes out. But anyway, in the mean time, I just wanna enjoy our quite moment, alone, together.

My buttock died!

2 days ago, I told big C that my butt is "sleeping". It felt as though one side was drooping and completely numb and the other side was swinging left and right. We gotto use tiger balm to "revive" my left butt.

Last night, I had a lil accident after I sneezed. I thought of changing into a new pair of panty. So I walked over and as I turned my body, my left body (from waist down to the thigh) was in so much pain. It felt like as if my tendon was all twisted. All I can do was to shout for Big C to come. He asked me what happened and the only way I can explain was "MY BUTTOCK DIED!" He tried to get me to sit, but cannot. Tried to get me to lie down-cannot. So at the end he just held me and we stood there for sometime. Of course, I cried in pain. Jayden came and said "I WANG ! I WANG! I WANG! ( I want)" Want what?Aiyoh my son...yr mother is in pain and you samo want what la? I never bother to find out what he wanted. Poor kid...

After that, I managed to lie face down with many many pillows underneath my chest , making way for my belly down there. My buttock faced up like a chicken all ready to be roasted. So the whole night I couldn't move much, I cannot turn my body left or right and baby J was sitting right on top of my backbone-not a very comfortable position for a pregnant woman.

Don't know what was wrong with Jayden. He wanted to climb over to sleep with us. The whole night he tried to stick to me, sharing the same pillow with me and basically pinning me to the wall. Guess I scared him when I shouted for his father earlier, he had nightmare and said " DADDY!! DADDYY!!DADADDYYYYY!!!! (perfect imitation of me :P) And at last at 5am, he told me "I WANG NEN NEN" ( I want milk).  Although I was in pain but I'm happy that finally my son can talk in a sentence formed up with more than 2 words. So I went to the kitchen walking like a penguin and made him milk.

This morning I went to my doc and she said that "Ah... it came back". Yeah IT came back. I had the similar problem when I was pregnant in my early stage but I never blogged about it. Now, it came back. Apparently my joints were swollen and it affected one part of the lower back that is my buttock area. So when I said "MY BUTTOCK DIED" the doctor and the nurse said "ahhh........" FINALLY someone understand me when I said my butt died. They said its common and I'm lucky (for now) cos some of her patients comes in with walking stick.

Dr scanned my baby and she said that the water level in the placenta seems to be very low. Right now the reading (what reading ? I don't know. Doctor say like that means like that la....) is 8.5 and the critical level is 6. So I need to buck up and drink more water, rest, lie down more often, eat more curry mee, drink more bubble tea, watch more CSI, don't need to do housework, and quit my job.

So what if the water level does not increase? I might have to take steroid jab and get baby's lungs matured earlier and get baby out. And because of the buttock case, I maybe- won't be able to give birth naturally and may need to go for c sec. *tik tak calculator and wipe Big C's sweat*

*sigh*

28 weeks

Yeap. Finally I've reached my 28 weeks of pregnancy. And thanks for the compliments in my previous post. Sorry to say that I no longer look like that anymore. Yeah, I know it's only 2 weeks from the date of the pics were taken but then as expected, baby suddenly speed up in growing and of course the mother also gained lotsa weight (must be the curry mee!). I don't know how much I weight now, but looking at the comments made by some ppl:

Wah! Your legs so chunky wan.
Wah! What happened?
You can run meh?
Nevermind she cannot run edi wan.
Wah! You look very HUGE.
Wah! You look fat today. Which I answered, "yesterday also I was fat edi. You never noticed ah?"

I know I gained alot.

You know, sometimes I just wonder how come some people is not sensitive enough with the words being thrown out from the mouth. Yeah, its free. But does it mean that you can simply just say it out? Yeah, it was meant to be a joke-but seriously, is it THAT funny? Ah well, the mouth belongs to them. Just gotto remember something::: "what goes around comes around".

Baby likes to kick and play with my ureter and my bladder. I think s/he can be a drummer or guitar player. When s/he kicks, it feels like the world is spinning around cos it hurts like mad. And the bad news is, s/he is wide awake at night or end of the day. I hope this change otherwise, I'll be a night owl entertaining her/him.

We mentioned some name the other night and s/he kicked a few times when we mentioned that particular name. And when Jayden was near me I said "jayden, come say hi to XXXXXX la.." the baby kicked me and Jayden looked at me as if he's saying "mami are you crazy?"

Before I even planned for no2 I sort of guess and know what I will have. How I know? I dunno. You can call it mother's instinct. Many commented saying I am having a girl.Only a few said I'm having a boy. But anyway girl or boy it doesn't matter. Cos I only wanted someone to accompany Jayden and as long as baby is healthy and normal, what else can I ask for right?
See what can happen in 2 weeks time.
The hump became so much bigger!

My 2nd preggie shot.

I went for another round of preggie shot with Tricia 2 weeks ago when I was 26 weeks pregnant. Some of you might say "AGAIN????" The last round was just to get to know each other mah since we have spoken to each other for a very long time but have not met each other. This round was an impromptu shot together with a few other photographers in KTM.

Here are some of my favourite shots:

Photobucket
My Header at Tricia's site. Click to enter her gallery. Noticed that the train is coming? We got it just in time.

My first few shots. Still very fresh and energetic that time.

Photobucket
Yes, we're at the train station...

Photobucket
Yes I went into the old KTM train too...My kiriman express will arrive in 2 1/2 months time. A very long 40 weeks waiting.

A very fun and impromptu shot. Done last minute.

And what is a preggie shot without a shot like this?

This was the same dress I have worn 4 years ago when I signed my marriage agreement. And now I'm in it again, 15 kgs heavier with baby no.2.

Tricia said that she wanna give me an Anniversary gift that will make my other half fall in love all over again with me. *chuckles* Thanks Tricia for this lovely Anniversary Gift, really appreciate it very much. I know it's challenging to take something different from what you normally shoot (super sexy, slim and long legs models) .  You made my pregnancy this time a very memorable and beautiful one. Thanks so much.

Ah Chim, why your stomach so big wan?

That's what my lil niece, Sze Yin asked me the other day. I told her I hid a ball in it. "Can you take it out for me to see?". Then we laughed and I joked with her again "Actually there's a worm inside!". She looks stunned and said "How did it get into your stomach?" Haha she's such a cutie. How did the worm managed to get inside? that one I gotto ask your Ah Chik (Big C) to explain, ok?

Anyway here's a sneak preview of the lil one (the inside one) at week 26.

Doc and nurse said the same thing "Aiyoh....this baby looks exactly like your son la! You just look at the mouth and nose!".

I said "Eh ppl always say my son's mouth is very ugly because he suck pacifier you know?"

Doc said "Then you can tell them off. Cos no2 has the same mouth and lips and he's not even sucking anything inside".

As usual, the lil one (inside one) covered the bottom part. Doc scanned and scanned and sighed...because baby just refused to show what is under "there". It was as though baby was saying this

Starting to be cheeky even in the tummy.*headache*

His first time in TTDI park

After our laid back Saturday norning breakfast of roti canai and nasi lemak bungkus (cos petrol price increased, so we need to change our lifestyle abit and switch to less expensive food -haha!) we headed over to the same place where I did my week23 preggie shot, TTDI park.

The little one was kinda confused how come there wasn't any playground when we arrived at the destination.

But he was fascinated with the big pond and sprinkly fountain in the middle of the pond.
Photobucket
Him saying...Burd....................(Bird)

He ran and ran (we forgot to bring his sports shoes).
Photobucket

Then we arrived at the playground area and he got so excited about the playground..
Photobucket

Photobucket
And he never stop at all for me to take a decent pic of him playing.

Photobucket
He loved his tumbler so much, he need to save send his tumbler over to the other side of the tunnel before he crawl over.

Photobucket
Yes this is me at week 25 preg.

The only way to get him away from the playground is to carry him like this..
Photobucket

And we headed over to the man-made stream.
Photobucket
Not afraid of sand anymore...

Photobucket
He managed to hijack borrowed someone's fish net to catch longkang fish.

Photobucket
Since we forgot to bring any of his beach tools, I gave him a bottle cap and he used that to play with water. Save money mar......

Photobucket
The mother looking at her son mining for gold using bottle cap...haha

Photobucket
The tired mother with the very wet kid.

Photobucket
Bottle cap hilang edi.. so play with stick

Photobucket
Ah I like this pic cos he look like a big tai kor in this pic.

And when we said "okay let's go home", he ran and refused to let us change him..
Photobucket
His dadi gotto chase him and strip him naked in the middle of the field to change him.

This is a really nice place for family outing. Other than the playground's flooring (which is abit cacat-ed), the environment is really nice. The man-made stream's water is was so clean and clear that you can see longkang fish and prawns (yeah they managed to catch some). I guess J enjoyed his first time in this park. We enjoyed ourselves too and definitely know what to bring for our 2nd trip here.

Week 23

According to the ticker in Jayden's blog I'm officially 24 weeks today. How do I feel? I felt like a very heavy guni sack and I always have a wiggly feeling in my tummy. Its like my baby is always awake and wanna play and chat with me. I can say that my baby is more active than Jayden. *pengsan*

*wake up from pengsan* Anyway, I think baby J (or maybe some other alphabets-not sure yet. but most probably will be J) can hear us talking and singing. Cos baby J always kick harder than before when we sing nursery rhymes for Jayden. Not bad eh? Satu kali sing, semua dengar and ada reaction. Anyway Jayden never let us finish a song, he just like to flip away the pages and ask us to sing another song.

Gainingg 10kgs (approx but I hope not more than that), I'm real "bulat" now. My thighs are huge. So huge, Jayden had the opportunity to bite my thigh lately when I smacked his hands for trying to pull the astro card out from the decoder.  Sigh..see how he changed. He also likes to flip my baju and turn the two very vulnerable nobs (my ni nis) proly cos its bigger now and more noticeable than before. If i sit down, I look like a ball. No joke.

Sigh..........Sigh..Sigh........*looking at my Levis jeans and wave bye bye*

So why is this post called 23 weeks when I'm already 24 weeks? Cos I met up with Flowsnow when I was 23 weeks (my first time meeting her) and we did a preliminary round of maternity shots. Since my extra weight went to the wrong places (e.g my butt, my arms, my thigh and blablabla) and not to my tummy, she focused more on my face. Here are some of the shots that I really like. She managed to edit 12 pics and uploaded in her site. Please don't faint after you viewed my pics.

She gave me a very glamour name on my header...

Yup, you can see the mist. So imagine how early we got there :)

The venue was in TTDI park with many ppl jogging around. I can say that the people are not so "ulu / kampung" cos they're MYOB-ing and some shouted "Hey how many months?" and "You're carrying a ____ right?" hehe farnie bunch of people.

Anyway, thanks Tricia (flowsnow) for taking some time off to shoot me. I had a good time and can't wait for our next round of shoot. :)

The Little Neglected Bump

Photobucket

I noticed that I seldom talk about the little bump on my tummy. Cos I'm seriously so tied down with Jayden's issue with Nanny And Daycare. I even went for my 20th week checkup late (in week 22 last Sat). Not that I forgot about the check up but then I was busy with my dslr class and I gotto accompany Big C to KK the week before. Anyway, since things are better this week, I think I gotto be fair but to focus on the little bump.

I will be in week 23 this Saturday and I'm already 60kgs, with 8-9 kgs gained. I'm sure the weight didn't go much to the baby cos baby J is only 500gm ++ for now. My tummy is already 36 inches compared to J's bump that came max 40inches last time. So imagine a giant penguin walking around.

Baby is fine but very shy cos baby refused to show the face entirely to us, using both hands to cover the cheeks. Doctor somehow confirmed the baby's sex but then anything can happen. So we just gotto wait till baby is out then I can tell you that its a girl or boy, ok?

Photobucket
Covering the face/cheeks with both hands at week 22.

As for Jayden, he saw the scan and told the doctor "oh oh! oooohhhh Baby!" and he will sayang my tummy once in a while IF he's in a good mood. Baby is moving well, VERY WELL. Sometimes I felt very uneasy cos baby kept kicking the same spot for a very long time. Jayden was the same when he was in my tummy. Hubby asked "Can you imagine we have 2 Jaydens?" Okayyyyyy........Don't wanna think so far! Till then, I just wanna chill and enjoy while I can.

Stoned Woman Blogging.

  1. I am so stoned today. Jayden had nightmare, so he was crying and kicking the whole night. Wanna hold hands la.. want me to hug like this, like that and dunno like what. And the little one is kicking me like his big brother from inside too. Happy or not? Bahagianya aku............... I felt like banging my head to the wall and pengsan for few hours without interruption. Can ah?
  2. I used to buy stretchable working clothes because I hate ironing. Big C send his working clothes to laundry cos he said they iron nicer than me. But last night I ironed Jayden's uniform. You see how he turn me into maid?
  3. I cannot believe what I said "Jayden you need to sleep early okay? Otherwise you can't get up for school..." Sounds very familiar. But I don't believe I'm saying that already and my son is only 25 months now. In another few years more I'll be saying "Do you have homework today?".
  4. I'm like a programmed robot. I wake up, brush teeth, make milk for J, on the tv to wake him up, get dressed, draw some eyebrows, colour the cheeks abit and comb my hair, dress J up, Wear socks for him, Fill up his water tumbler, take his bag, drive to his sch, send him to class, go to work, wait for 11.15am, rush to J's sch, pick him up, send him to nanny, buy lunch, rush back to office, eat lunch, try to work, wait for handphone to ring, rush to nanny, pick him up, go home, cook rice, watch Bella, eat dinner, bath, play with Jayden, make milk with him, and sleep. Tomorrow start again. Sound like your day too? Welcome to FTWM gang.
  5. Okay sekian terima kasih. And thank god tomorrow is Saturday.

I need a suit of armour

Like the title said it, I need a suit of armour. A pregnant design suit of armour.

Lil J has been very sticky (finally!) especially during sleeping time. And if he's in a good mood, he will kiss and kiss and kiss and hug me. And sometimes he will crawl over and ask me to hug him to sleep.

Lately he's been climbing over very often - like every night. And every night Big C will be either on the floor or outside doing dunno what. And if I ask him what he is doing outside, he said he cannot sleep cos the little one kicked him out of the bed.

And if the lil one is in a bad mood, he will fuss and turn and KICK MY TUMMY and cry for no reason. Especially if he is irritated or someone made him cry at the end of the day - he will for sure have nightmare the whole night. So it will be sleepless night for all of us. Everyone just stay up and watch Elmo or Barney until everyone also cannot tahan and pengsan la.

Like this video, he was angry with me because that day he was walking outside the nanny's house with the nanny and I drove passed him hoping that he won't recognise my car. But he pointed at my car and started to cry and guling on the floor. And then the whole night he was like this..

And whatever I give him, he give me this kinda reaction...

Like everything is NOT RIGHT and that night I tellyiu guys..it was a mental night. He will kick and kick my tummy whole night.

Last night, I sprained my back (or izit pulled my muscle) I'm not sure. I just know that I cannot move and wanted to lie down on the bed. Lil J was jumping up and down and kept asking me to PLAY. Don't ask me why he asked ME and ME only to play. So I went to sit on the chair and he came again pulling my hand, asking me to sit on the floor to play puzzle with him. It made me wonder "AM I THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS HOUSE AH??????"

Anyway anger aside, anyone know where to buy those pregnant suit of armour ah? So I can wear and rest without getting kicked or jumped on? Got ah? Got ah? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
